A developing project within Landau Zoo is a new nature education trail. In collaboration with local groups of the German nature conservancy association (NABU) it is built along the forest path leading to our spacious bear enclosure. Niches along the path leading through the forest have started to be arranged in an interesting way giving information about the indigenous flora like bats and owls and fauna as well as ideas of how to protect them.
