Carbon Emissions Reduction
- a Carbon Audit is underway at our flagship Aurora Alice Springs property, with a view to structuring an emission
reduction programme adaptable to all Aurora properties
Energy Saving
- Aurora pursues all means to minimize unnecessary energy usage by employing energy-saving light bulbs, regularly
replacing insulation and refrigerator seals and updating inefficient appliances
Solar Power
- Aurora is currently undertaking a feasibility of introduction of photo-voltaic power at its remote Aurora Kakadu
property
Waste Management
- all properties undertake recycling and minimization of printing where practical
Company Vehicles
- Aurora’s policy is to acquire hybrid fuelled vehicles where practical
