How we use your money.

By sponsoring a certain animal or a group of animals you can help make Landau Zoo better for its inhabitants and thus more attractive for visitors. Thanks to the generous support of sponsors important new constructions and reconstruction measures have been made possible. Examples of the construction work are the new enclosures for Madagascan animals, the reconstruction of the deer enclosure, and the establishment of the rescue and reintegration aviary for parrots.

How to become a sponsor.

Only 20 € a year makes you a sponsor of an animal at Landau Zoo. You can choose your favorite from the list of animals that need sponsoring. Why don't you give an Animal Adoption to your children, grandchildren, or friends for their next birthday as surprise gift? Maybe you would like to contribute to the protection of a species with your company. If so, please send the completed application form (downloadable below) to this address:

What does the sponsor get?

  • Every year you will receive a certificate and a sticker saying you are a sponsor, information about your animal and a donation receipt for your tax return. If you wish we can add your name on the sponsor panel at the zoo entrance.

  • You will be invited to take part in opening festivities for new enclosures and other special events for sponsors of Landau Zoo.

  • For a donation of 1,000 € or more p. a. you may call yourself an "official sponsor of Landau Zoo" and add this title to your company name or logo.

  • For single donations of 250 € or more p.a. we attach a plaque with your name to the enclosure of the animal you sponsor - of course, only if you wish so.
